Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently enter charge data into billing systems based on medical records and other documentation.
Review and verify charge information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT).
Resolve discrepancies and issues related to charge entries, such as missing information, incorrect codes, or denials
Collaborate with other departments, such as clinical staff and billing managers, to ensure proper billing practices and resolve any billing issues.
