Responsibilities:
To find out the status of medical claims that have been denied, underpaid, or unpaid, start making outbound calls to US insurance providers.
Work together with internal teams to fix underlying problems that are causing denials or obtain the information that is required.
To maximise calling efforts and meet collection goals, schedule your daily tasks.
For audit trails and future reference, make sure that all follow-up actions and resolutions are accurately documented.
Respect all payer policies, client-specific regulations, and business policies pertaining to the revenue cycle as a whole and claims follow-up.
