What is course about?
This course is designed to produce such professional practitioner who will be able to treat patients with the holistic method and take care of them with the homoeopathic medicines. This course will enable students to work as a Doctor, Physician and Medical Officer.

Duration
The duration of the course is 5 YEARS after 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University or Board accompanied by Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

Eligibility Of the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery [BHMS]
The duration of the course is 5 years fulltime. And to get admission in this course the candidate must be able to fulfill the following conditions:

10+2 degree or equivalent from any stream with aggregate 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English compulsory subjects from a recognized university/ college.
NIH BHMS Entrance examination must be cleared.
How to Get Admission in Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery [BHMS]
Admissions to most of the medical courses are done through entrance exams conducted by concerned authority. Medical institutes in India take students on the basis of their performance in entrance test.

To get admission candidates have to attempt the written entrance examination. After clearing the entrance test successfully, group discussion and personal interview will be done on the basis of which skills and abilities of candidates will be judge and he/she can be shortlisted.

Those candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test can appear for 1st round of counseling and then 2nd round of counseling which may be held for those candidates who have their names in waiting list.
