Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you ll Do:
Enter payments from several sources accurately into your preferred medical billing or practice management system.
Patient and insurance refunds must be handled accurately, quickly, and with the appropriate documentation and authorisation.
Posting methods should be reviewed and updated frequently to reflect changes to payer regulations or internal processes.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly production targets for the quantity and precision of payment posts.
Stay up to date on payer-specific legislation, payment procedures, and industry advancements that impact payment posting.

What you need:
capable of understanding Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs).
It helps to know standard medical billing language and basic coding concepts (CPT, ICD-10).
basic understanding of the different payment options and the processes involved in reconciliation.
