Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, making sure they are accurate and timely for our Chennai operations.
To guarantee cash balance correctness and spot any irregularities in our Chennai accounts, conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Help with statutory return preparation and filing, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes in India, while making sure local laws are followed.
Manage petty cash transactions and keep thorough records of all payments and receipts for our office in Chennai.
Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting procedures by offering pertinent financial information and analysis for our Chennai operations.

Skills:
solid knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting procedures and principles.
proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting applications. It is advantageous to be familiar with the accounting software that is frequently utilised in Chennai.
Outstanding precision and attention to detail while managing financial data.
Excellent time-management and organising abilities to oversee several projects and fulfil deadlines in our Chennai office.
