Responsibilities:
To ascertain appropriate welding procedures and dimensions, read and comprehend basic blueprints, welding symbols, and job directions.
As needed, clean, grind, or fit components to ensure correct alignment before preparing materials for welding.
Configure the welding equipment, making sure to adjust variables like gas flow, voltage, and current for the best welding results.
Examine completed welds for basic quality, making sure there are no significant flaws and that the penetration is enough and the beads are consistent.
To confirm the dimensions of welded components, use simple measuring equipment.

Qualification:
Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Familiarity with different types of metals and basic welding consumables.
Skill in using basic measuring tools.

Education: Any ITI Degree
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
