Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and quality-focused Head of Quality Control to lead and manage all quality control activities within our manufacturing facility in Chennai. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance. This leadership role demands a deep understanding of quality management systems, exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and a proven ability to cultivate a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall quality control strategy and objectives for the manufacturing facility in alignment with the company's overarching quality policy and business goals.
Oversee all QC functions, encompassing incoming material inspection, in-process quality assurance, final product inspection, testing, and release processes.
Ensure the accurate calibration, maintenance, and proper utilization of all testing, inspection, and measurement equipment within the QC department.
Analyze quality data using statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage the annual budget for the QC department, optimizing resource allocation and controlling operational expenses.

Skills:
thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems (such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949), their implementation in a manufacturing environment, and their practical application.
Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on data.
Proven leadership and team management skills, including expertise in coaching, mentoring, and building a productive QC team.
thorough knowledge of metrology's fundamentals as well as different inspection tools and techniques.

Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree
Experience: 10+ yrs
