Job Description
Focus: Given the local labour and operational environment, place special emphasis on the fundamental abilities of team leadership, production process supervision, and hitting production goals in a Chennai manufacturing environment.
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

What you ll Do:
Supervise and coordinate the daily production activities of a team of manufacturing personnel in our Chennai facility to meet production schedules and quality standards specific to our products and the Chennai market.
Monitor production processes closely, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety, and implementing corrective actions tailored to our Chennai operations.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and promote a proactive safety culture within the production area, aligning with local safety standards and best practices in Chennai.
Manage and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, optimizing utilization within the constraints and opportunities of our Chennai plant.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly, coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs, and strive to minimize production downtime in our Chennai facility.

What you need:
Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control principles relevant to our Chennai facility.
Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner within the Chennai context.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, essential for interacting with various stakeholders in our Chennai plant.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions under pressure, and effectively manage a team in a dynamic Chennai manufacturing environment.
