Job Description
We are looking to add a highly qualified and seasoned VMC Setter to our vibrant production team. By configuring and optimising Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) for a range of machining procedures, a VMC Setter will be vital in guaranteeing accurate and efficient production.

What you will do:
Examine engineering drawings, project specifications, and blueprints to determine machining parameters.
Select and arrange the appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding equipment.
Select and maintain the appropriate cutting tools and fittings.
Ensure proper tool storage and inventory control.
Work closely with VMC operators to ensure quality and minimise errors.

What we need:
demonstrated expertise in configuring and running VMC equipment.
strong knowledge of cutting tool selection, tool wear, and machining concepts.
basic knowledge of programming in M-code and G-code (recommended).
the capacity to diagnose setup issues and fix any issues that come up while machining.

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs
Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
Location: In and Around Chennai
