Responsibilities:
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications, intricate technical drawings, and blueprints pertaining to Chennai-made components should be accurately interpreted.
increase cycle times, lower machining costs, and increase part quality for our Chennai production lines by optimising current CNC programs.
Make thorough tooling lists and setup papers to give CNC setters and operators in our Chennai site precise instructions.
Ensure appropriate revision control and accessibility for our Chennai operations by keeping an orderly library of CNC programs and associated documentation.
Take part in initiatives for continuous improvement to increase machining efficiency and cut waste in our production operations in Chennai.

Skills:
strong ability to create precise and effective CNC programs for VMCs utilising CAD/CAM software.
thorough knowledge of the cutting tool selection, machining concepts, and optimisation strategies that are pertinent to Chennai's VMC operations.
the capacity to correctly decipher intricate engineering blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications.
expertise in CNC program simulation and verification to minimise errors and maximise efficiency.
