Responsibilities
To determine which services and procedures are billable, examine and evaluate patient encounter forms, doctor notes, surgical reports, and other clinical data.
Find and mark any inconsistencies or omissions that might result in billing problems or rejections.
To avoid claim denials and rejections, quickly identify and fix charge entry problems.
Reach or surpass personal goals for quality and productivity.
Contribute to simple reports that highlight coding errors or charge entry volumes.
Skills
Prior experience working in a BPO/KPO environment focused on US healthcare RCM.
Familiarity with various payer guidelines.
Experience with a specific medical billing software
