Job Description
Responsibilities
Initiate outbound calls to insurance companies in the US to follow up on outstanding medical claims from our Chennai office.
Analyze and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Remittance Advice (RAs) to understand payment discrepancies and denial reasons.
Identify and resolve issues causing claim denials or underpayments by communicating effectively with insurance representatives.
Collaborate with internal teams (billing specialists, coders) in Chennai to resolve complex billing issues and ensure accurate claim processing.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and company policies regarding patient privacy and data security.
Utilize billing software and other relevant systems efficiently to manage and track claims.

Skills
Knowledge of medical billing terminology, CPT and ICD codes, and insurance claim processing procedures.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills in English with a neutral accent.
Ability to analyze and interpret EOBs/RAs effectively.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve claim issues.
