Job Description
Responsibilities
Safely use hoists, overhead cranes, and other heavy lifting equipment to load and precisely align large, heavy workpieces onto the VTL chuck/table.
For VTL activities, load, check, and run CNC programs.
Find and report any surface finish flaws or dimensional errors, and help determine the best course of action.
Check for wear, damage, or breakage on cutting instruments and replace them as necessary.
Chips and coolant should be handled and disposed of appropriately.
Skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
Strong troubleshooting skills for machining and part quality issues.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
