Job Description
Responsibilities
For paint shop equipment, plan and schedule yearly shutdowns, major overhauls, calibrations, and routine maintenance with the least amount of production interruption.
Diagnose problems with spray guns, bells, oven temperature variations, conveyor stoppages, and robotic painting systems.
Utilise robot programming interfaces and specialised paint application software.
Recognise how chemicals and utilities affect paint quality and equipment performance.
Encourage a proactive safety culture and take an active part in safety audits.
Skills
familiarity with CMMSs like SAP PM, Maximo, or comparable programs.
strong dedication to quality standards, safety, and environmental responsibility.
familiarity with particular paint quality testing tools and guidelines.
