Based on clinical documentation, you will be in charge of appropriately entering service codes and patient costs into the billing system. This position is essential for making sure that claims are created accurately and promptly, as this has a direct effect on payment. The ideal applicant will be dedicated to preserving data integrity, possess outstanding data entry abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a basic awareness of medical language and codes.

Key Responsibilities:
Examine patient encounter records to make sure all services and procedures that are chargeable are included.
Based on verified services and coding guidelines, assign the proper CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes and any required modifiers.
To make sure all services are accounted for and no money is lost, create and check charge entry reports every day.
Any persistent problems or patterns that can result in billing process rejections or denials should be noted and reported.
Take part in training courses to improve your understanding of medical coding and charge entry procedures.

What you Need:
Exceptional data entry speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify numerical and textual discrepancies.
Basic understanding of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, and modifiers.
