PILGRIMAGE TOUR TO PARIS, VENICE, PADOVA, ASSISI, PORTGUESE,
LOURDES & ROME

Day 01: Paris- France

Arrival Paris check in hotel after lunch ½ city tour of Paris fort and places with efile Tower. Over nights stay at hotel and rest.

Day 02: Paris-Lourdes

After breakfast check out proceed sights seeing left over Paris lunch hotel evening to train to proceed to Lourdes.

Day 03: Lourdes

On arrival at Lourdes. Check – in at the hotel after breakfast proceed on a full day tour of Lourdes. Lourdes receives more than 5 million visitors from all over the world every year. Lourdes was just a small market town on the 11 century, when Bernadette Salubrious met, along the Gave, the “Lady” that made the town a Marian city.

Today Lourdes has the second greatest number of hotels in France with 230 establishments. It’s geographical position; at the foot of the mountains make it an ideal starting point of excursion to the Pyrenees.
It will be a place of hope for the thousands of disabled people visiting the shrine to get cured.

It appears many believes who visited the shrine with a strong faith got cured miraculously which motivates many more to visit Lourdes shrine and the tomb of St. Bernadette. If time permits, visit the Nativity, Museum the Lourdes museum the Wax Museum, the Miraculous museum etc.,


Day 04: Lourdes-Lisbon-Fatima

Arrival TOULOUSE Airport proceed to Lisbon by Flight approximately 1hrs-10minutes. If time permits continue to go to Fatima about 200k.m from Lisbon overnights stay at Fatima.

Day 05: Lisbon-Milan

After breakfast visit St.Fatima after Holy Mass and lunch proceed to Lisbon to take the Flight to Milan

Day 06: Milan-Italy

After breakfast, proceed on a half-day sight seeing. Milan is one of the oldest and largest commercial city of Italy. It is country’s economic and commercial home of Italy. The breath-taking Duomo is one of the world’s largest and most striking Gothic cathedrals, while Milan’s art galleries, many housed in farmer’s palaces, are home to a host of significant works that include Da Vincls “Last Supper “

Dinner and Overnight at hotel

Day 07: Padova – St.Antony’s Relics

Checkout from hotel after early breakfast and proceed by surface to Padua.

Full day sight seeing. Visit Scrovegnl Chapel and Basllica of St.Antony which was built in 13th century with 8 dimes. It contains the body of St.Antony. Thereafter proceed to Palazzo Delta Region which was built in the 12th century. The upper floor of this is consists of s single hall of from thereon proceed to “Prato Delta Valle”

Once a roman has become a traditional site where you will find 78 statues of famous men. If time permits visit the famous university which was founded in 1222, supposed to be the oldest university in the world.

Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay Paduva.

Day 08: Assisi – Franciscan Founder

Check out from hotel after an early breakfast and proceed by surface to ASSISI.

Full day visit. Assisi is the place where two great saints were born St.Francis in 1182 and St.Clare in 1193. Visit the Basllica complex which is composed of 2 churches built one above the other between 1228 and 1230. The upper Basllica is adorned by the painter Giotto illustrating the life of St.Francis. After intense apostolic activities in Italy St.Francis left Italy in 1219 for Egypt and other countries.

Visitors to Assisi can perceive the intensity of the Franciscan spirituality and that of the other great saints who have blessed this land and reach Paisa, Florence in evening

Day 09: Rome –Vatican -Papal’s Visit

After breakfast proceed Rome check-in at the hotel and after rest and refreshment proceed on a half a day sight seeing tour. Visit St.Peter’s square, Colosseum-old Roman theater or arena where Christians were persecuted, then to scala santa the Holy wooden steps which Christ traversed during his trial in Jerusalem and the Basilica of St.John, the ancient residence of the roman pontiff and one of the 4major Basilicas also known as mother church.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Vatican City

Visit the Vatican city, Sistine chapel Vatican Museum and also, if possible to have the papel audience. Time for shopping at the Vatican city where you can purchase the most important souvenirs and relics.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: San Glovanni Rotonda

After breakfast proceed by surface to San Glovanni Rotonda.

The Shrine of Padre Pio in San Glovanni Rotondi, Italy is the second most visited catholic shrine in the world. It centers around the tomb of saint padre Pio of Pletreicina, a capuchin friar priest and mastic known for his devotion to God supernatural gifts an the stigmata. He dies in 1968 and was declared a saint in 2002.

Visit the shrine centers around Padre PLO’s Tomb, which is inside the church of our Lady of Grace (Santa Maria Della Grazle). You can also see his cell, his confessional and the crucifix from which he received the stigmata.

The padre PLO Pilgrimage Church, completed in 2004, is a notable example of modern architecture. Designed by the Genoan architect Renzo Piano, It can accommodate 6500 people seated at worship and 30,000 people standing outside.

The shrine includes is a way of the cross on the hillside above, regular processions and an English speaking pilgrim’s office. The city takes its names from the rotunda Di San Glovanni, an old building on the edge of the old town.

Day 12: San Glovanni Rotonda – Rome Airport

After breakfast check out hotel and transferred to Rome Airport and arrival Chennai Airport or Trichy Airport
