Job Description
Responsibilities:
Post payments into the medical billing system accurately from a variety of sources, including cheques, credit card transactions, and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
To comprehend payment information, changes, and refusal reasons, review and analyse Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Determine and address differences between actual and anticipated payments using EOB/ERA data.
Apply the proper write-offs, denials, and contractual changes in accordance with internal policies and payer guidelines.
Make ensuring that payments are accurately assigned to the right patient accounts and service lines.
Create precise deposit summaries and balance and reconcile daily payment batches.

Skills:
the capacity to examine, decipher, and spot inconsistencies in payment information.
Strong verbal and writing communication abilities in Tamil and English are preferred.
the capacity to function both alone and together.
fundamental understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
