Job Description
Your Impact:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Tool Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The Press Tool Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press machinery utilizing various press tools (dies, punches) to shape, cut, and form metal or other materials according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up press tools and die on assigned machines according to setup sheets and engineering drawings.
Operate various press machines (mechanical, hydraulic) to form metal parts efficiently and accurately.
Identify and report any issues with the press machine, tooling, or part quality to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered.

What you Need:
Ability to set up press tools and dies accurately according to setup sheets and instructions.
Proficiency in using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) common in Chennai workshops to check part dimensions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Ability to troubleshoot basic operational issues with press machines and tooling.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
