• Information Technology department
MFT has excellent facilities to support information Technology department. IT department has the latest software and hardware in laboratory for hands on training which has been interwoven into the study program to provide practical training for helping the students to attain a high degree of proficiency in order to meet the demand and IT industry. The Lab is fully equipped with the most modern structure cabling using AT&T CAT-5 cables, synoptic 10 Base T Hubs and computers with the highest configuration. Students will use the latest CAD system such as Rich peace , Gerber software for 3D .MFT also proud to inform that its IT lab is also uploaded with all the software which support the training for MCA, M.Sc(IT), M.Sc computer science and University training is also given for them by experienced faculties.

• Management Department
The Management here works to their core to produce skilled and knowledgeable candidates to the entertained world.

• Fashion Department
MFT here provides the students a vast infrastructure for the Fashion Department. The seating arrangements of the students are made such a way in order to comfort the students for their sketching, making patterns and other works. The department is enriched by providing separates lab facilities for fashion Designing, pattern making and Grading, Garment Construction and Textiles departments. The resource centre has comprehensively listed and neatly displayed samples of fabrics, garments and accessories. Machines used here are fully modernized based on the present technology and trend. The creative skills of the students here are being molded according to the developing modern trend of the world.

• Library
The library has a collection of books according to the requirement of the students. The books available were very much helpful for the students for their project works, seminars, and conferences. The specimens were also kept collected respective to the fields of interest and need. The students can also asked use the library of the University of Madras for their reference. They provide more than thousands of knowledge loaded books for the students at the time of need. The Library also subscribes to latest national and international journals and magazines catering to all departments and has valuable audio visual collections of compact discs and phptographs.

• Industry Interaction
MFT is committed to develop a high level of industrial knowledge to the student by curriculum designing, training, placement, research, development and project work. A healthy exchange of faculty and professionals in industries are being arranged to utilize the expertise in the respective field. Internships and industrial visits are arranged in all branches of the industry across the country.
