Job Description
Responsibilities
Make phone calls to patients and insurance providers to enquire about unpaid bills.
Verify patient accounts to make sure all billing information is accurate.
Keep thorough records of all correspondence and payment statuses in the database.
Work together with healthcare providers to address questions and settle billing disputes.
Contribute to the creation of reports about aging accounts and collections.
Keep abreast on the rules and laws pertaining to healthcare billing.
