Responsibilities
Manual and CNC lathe machines should be set up, calibrated, and run in accordance with precise engineering specifications and drawings.
Choose the right tools, feeds, and cutting speeds to guarantee accuracy and effectiveness.
Fill the lathes with raw materials, then keep an eye on how the machines are operating.
Make the required modifications to preserve accuracy, consistency, and quality.
To verify compliance with requirements, examine and measure completed items using precision measuring instruments including gauges, micrometres, and callipers.
Adjust the machine's settings as necessary to maintain tight tolerances.
To guarantee the lathe machines run well, do routine maintenance and little repairs.
Respect all safety procedures and keep your workspace neat and orderly.
Inform the supervisor of any possible safety risks or equipment issues.
