Job Description
Responsibilities:
Adapt to local operating conditions and equipment specifications to create, implement, and optimise complete preventative maintenance (PM) programs for all mechanical, electrical, and other important equipment in our Chennai manufacturing site.
Analyse maintenance records, failure patterns, and equipment performance data to decrease unplanned downtime at our Chennai facility and increase the efficacy of PM programs over time.
During PM operations, make sure that all safety rules and protocols are followed, following the industry-wide safety standards in Chennai.
Take part in the root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures to find the underlying reasons and put preventative measures in place to keep our Chennai plant from experiencing them again.
Investigate and assess emerging maintenance technologies and methods that may improve the efficacy and efficiency of our Chennai PM programs.

Skills:
experience creating and carrying out schedules, processes, and PM programs.
competence in evaluating equipment performance data, doing equipment inspections, and monitoring equipment conditions.
experience with CMMS software to manage maintenance records and operations, if relevant.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis abilities pertinent to manufacturing equipment problems.

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
