Job Description
Responsibilities:
Press tools should be set up and adjusted in the machine in accordance with setup sheets and work specifications, making sure that alignment, shut height, tonnage, and other parameters are all proper.
Any production problems, equipment failures, or quality flaws should be promptly identified and reported to the supervisor or quality inspector.
Clean and maintain the press machine and workspace on a regular basis.
Ascertain adherence to safe operating procedures and appropriate machine guarding.
