Job Description
Responsibilities:
Take the lead in negotiating with suppliers to get the best deal for the business on terms, prices, delivery dates, and quality agreements.
Deal with supplier-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Examine spending trends to find ways to reduce costs and improve process efficiency.
Using production schedules, sales projections, and market trends, project future purchasing requirements.
Make sure that all contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements are properly documented.
Skills:
strong analytical abilities in forecasting, cost modelling, and spend analysis.
proficiency with ERP/MRP procurement systems.
Knowledge of quality control methods
