Job Description
Responsibilities
Post payments into the billing system accurately from patients and insurance companies (EOBs/ERAs).
Handle both electronic and manual posts from ERAs and EOBs.
Find and fix payment posting irregularities, such as underpayments and denials.
Identify typical denial reasons and start appeals as part of basic denial management follow-up.
Ensure appropriate documentation by keeping thorough records of every payment transaction.
Enter and modify patient account data as required.
