Job Description:
Maintenance Engineer Mechanical / Electrical | Chennai | Immediate Joiners Preferred
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site / Plant-based / Facility-based
Experience: 0 to 3 years
Qualification:
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or EEE

Certifications (Preferred): Safety, PLC, HVAC, CMMS (optional based on role)

Salary:
Freshers: 15,000 20,000/month

Experienced: 20,000 30,000/month

Incentives/Allowances: Overtime, Shift, Food or Transport (based on company policy)

Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of machines/equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues on shop floor or facility

Maintain records of equipment breakdowns, service logs, and spare usage

Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing or spare part replacement

Ensure machinery runs efficiently and complies with safety standards

Support production team in reducing machine downtime

Implement TPM, 5S, and safety protocols in maintenance activities

Key Skills Required:
Mechanical and/or Electrical troubleshooting

Understanding of maintenance tools, PLCs, motors, pumps, etc.

Preventive and predictive maintenance

Knowledge of HVAC, DG sets, Compressors, and Electrical Panels

Basic computer use (Excel, Maintenance Logs, CMMS software)
