Job Description
We are in search for a CNC Setter with experience and attention to detail to join our production team. Through the setup and optimisation of the machining process, a CNC Setter will be important in guaranteeing the correct and efficient operation of our CNC machines.
Requirements:
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, milling machines) according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
Load and unload workpieces onto the machine.
Monitor the machining process, identify and resolve any issues, and ensure part quality.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and best practices.
Experience with setting up and operating various types of CNC machines.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Good understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices.
