Job Description
For our Quality Control (QC) division in Chennai, we are looking for a Head of Department (HOD) with a great deal of experience and a strong commitment to quality. In order to guarantee that our goods fulfil the highest standards of quality, dependability, and compliance, you will be in charge of organising and overseeing all quality control procedures. Strong technical expertise in quality management systems, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to promote a quality culture across the entire company are prerequisites for this leadership position.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Quality Control (QC) department, aligning its objectives with the overall company's quality policy and goals.
Oversee all QC activities, including incoming material inspection, in-process quality checks, final product inspection, and testing.
Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of all testing and inspection equipment.
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Lead and facilitate problem-solving initiatives related to quality defects and non-conformances.
Manage the internal audit program to ensure compliance with the QMS and identify areas for improvement.

Skills:
Strong understanding of quality control tools and techniques (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D problem solving).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree
Experience: 6+ yrs
Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
