Job Description
Focus: Emphasize the primary skills of establishing and leading quality control strategies, ensuring adherence to stringent standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a quality-centric culture within a manufacturing environment in Chennai, considering local quality expectations and regulatory requirements.
Experience: 6 to 8 yrs

What you ll Do:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Control (QC) strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and quality standards relevant to our manufacturing operations in Chennai and the target markets.
Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) and other relevant methodologies to identify trends, monitor process capability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within our Chennai manufacturing lines.
Manage and maintain the calibration program for all quality control and testing equipment used in our Chennai operations, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
Oversee the quality control aspects of supplier management, including the development of quality requirements for purchased materials and the evaluation of supplier quality performance, with a focus on local vendors in Chennai.
Ensure that all quality-related training programs are developed and effectively delivered to relevant personnel within our Chennai manufacturing plant.

What you need:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization in Chennai and with external stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of relevant Indian quality standards, regulatory requirements, and legal obligations for manufacturing, including any specific to Tamil Nadu.
Strong understanding of local supplier quality management practices and the Chennai manufacturing ecosystem.
A proactive, strategic, and results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and achieving quality excellence in a demanding manufacturing environment.
