For our team in Chennai, we are looking for a highly qualified and specialised Paintshop Maintenance Engineer. In our state-of-the-art paint shop, you will be directly in charge of maintaining the consistent best possible performance, dependability, and safety of all machinery, equipment, and utility systems. To reduce downtime and increase productivity in a crucial manufacturing setting, this position requires a proactive approach, a thorough awareness of painting procedures, and proficiency with maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities
Plan and schedule regular maintenance, major overhauls, calibrations, and annual shutdowns for paint shop equipment to minimise production disruption.
Diagnose issues with robotic painting systems, conveyor stoppages, oven temperature fluctuations, spray guns, and bells.
Make use of specific paint application software and robot programming interfaces.
Understand how paint quality and equipment performance are impacted by chemicals and utilities.
Participate actively in safety audits and promote a proactive safety culture.

Skills:
Experience with CMMS such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar.
Strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality standards.
Experience with specific paint quality testing equipment and standards.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
Experience: 3+ yrs
