M.Tech (by Research)
Master of Engineering (M.E) or Master of Technology (M.Tech) or Master of Science in Engineering (MS) is a Post Graduate Programme in Engineering or Technology. After completion of B.E or B.Tech or Five year including integrated programmes science or applied science are eligible to take this M.Tech (by Research). The ME/MTech/MSc in Engineering programmes in India are usually structured as an Engineering Research Degree, lesser than Ph.D and considered to be parallel to M.Phil and MS Degrees in Engineering.
