Job Description
Responsibilities
Welding: Using heat, pressure, or both, weld metal parts together, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.

Preparing: Metal must be cleaned, ground, and shaped before welding.

Setting up: Assembling components for welding with hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures

Using powered saws and angle grinders to prepare pieces and cut material to exact specifications

Aligning: Aligning components with calipers and rulers

Welding equipment: Choosing the right welding apparatus or technique in accordance with specifications

Positions for welding: components can be welded vertically, horizontally, or overhead.

Repairing: To fix machinery and other parts, weld sections together and fill up gaps.

Quality: Guaranteeing the integrity and quality of the welds

Qualification: any ITI Graduation
