Join metal components via a variety of welding techniques, including ARC, MIG, and TIG. welding in compliance with job orders, specifications, and designs.
Accurately read and understand welding symbols, technical drawings, and blueprints.
For the best welding results, set up and run the welding equipment, adjusting the wire feed speed, voltage, amperage, and gas flow.
Make sure the parts fit together correctly before welding, using clamps, jigs, and fittings as needed.
Examine welds for quality, taking note of the look of the beads, penetration, and lack of flaws (such as porosity, cracks, or slag inclusion).
Educational Qualification: Any ITI Graduation
