To choose and assign the appropriate codes while keeping abreast of regional coding variances, apply your understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding principles.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information for proper billing and fewer claim denials, understanding local insurance providers and schemes.
Before submitting a claim, check input charges against the source documents to find and fix any inconsistencies, guaranteeing billing accuracy in the Chennai context.

Skills
Basic understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding principles.
Demonstrated accuracy and speed in data entry tasks.
Meticulous attention to detail in billing-related tasks.
Proficiency in using computer software and medical billing systems used in Chennai.
