Job Description:
B.Tech Freshers Manufacturing / Production / R&D;
Location: chennai
Experience: Fresher (0 to 1 year)
Qualification: B.Tech Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Automobile / Industrial Engineering
1. Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (Manufacturing / Production)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily production operations and line management activities.
- Support process optimization and improve cycle time, productivity, and quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
- Conduct time study, work analysis, and prepare production reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and 5S practices.
- Assist in maintaining machines and equipment through basic troubleshooting.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and TPM (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced production environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration.
2. Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (Research & Development R&D;)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support design, development, and testing of new products.
- Assist in preparing CAD drawings, prototypes, and engineering documentation.
- Conduct product validation, functional testing, and performance analysis.
- Help in BOM creation, specification setting, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and supplier teams for product improvements.
- Participate in innovation, reverse engineering, and benchmarking activities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong fundamentals in engineering design & material science.
- Knowledge of CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo (preferred).
- Technical curiosity and strong innovation mindset.
- Good problem-solving and research skills.
