Responsibilities
- Strong expertise in Core Java: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Java programming, including object-oriented concepts, to build robust Android applications.
- Proficiency in Android application development: Possess extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying Android applications, following best practices and Android development standards.
- Thorough understanding of Android Architecture and Framework: Be well-versed in the Android platform s architecture, components, and lifecycle, ensuring efficient app performance and smooth user experience.
- Expertise in developing multimedia apps, including gallery and wallpaper applications: Have strong experience in building and optimizing apps that manage and display media content, such as images, wallpapers, and videos.
- Good understanding of XML parsers (JSON, SAX, DOM):** Be skilled in using different XML parsers to handle data structures efficiently and manage data exchange between the client and server.
- Experience with SQLite Database: Be proficient in using SQLite for managing local databases within Android applications, ensuring data storage and retrieval is optimized.
- Experience with web service integration (SOAP, REST, API, XML): Have hands-on experience integrating Android apps with web services using different protocols like SOAP and REST, ensuring seamless communication between the app and the server.
- Published app in the Android market (added advantage): Having developed and published an app on the Google Play Store demonstrates practical expertise and a strong understanding of app development and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of development tools: Have working knowledge of tools like Eclipse (IDE), Photoshop, Dreamweaver CS4, Fireworks, and SVN for designing and version control, which enhances development efficiency and collaboration.
