Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and Resolve Denials: Proactively handle claim denials and outstanding accounts receivable (AR) by investigating issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow-up with Insurance Companies & Clients: Communicate regularly with insurance companies, payers, and clients to resolve payment discrepancies, rejections, and delayed claims.
- Analyze Denials and Identify Trends: Examine denial patterns, identify common issues, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for process improvements to minimize future denials.
- Ensure Accurate Claim Submissions: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that claims are submitted accurately and completely, following all guidelines and preventing errors that lead to denials.
- Maintain Records of Follow-Up Actions: Keep comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all follow-up actions, communications with payers, and resolution of outstanding claims.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in managing denials and accounts receivable.
- Generate AR Status Reports: Produce regular reports on the status of AR, denials, and collections, providing insights to management for improving the collection and claims processes.
