Responsibilities
Ensuring conformity with all applicable regulations, enter daily charges for numerous physicians accurately.
Maintain the daily account productivity that is necessary, making sure that all actions are well documented and reported.
To ensure proper charge entry, keep up to date on your clientele and the kinds of services you offer.
Update your understanding of governmental and managed care rules and procedures on a regular basis. Interpret and convey regulations to guarantee compliance.
Based on coding specifications, medical language, and billing laws, audit and verify accounts to ensure reimbursement accuracy.
Determine the problems with patients and insurance and deal with them effectively and precisely.
Participate actively in efforts for ongoing quality improvement and offer suggestions to management.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving reimbursement procedures and results.
