Job Description
Focus: In a manufacturing setting in Chennai, place special emphasis on the fundamental abilities of precisely operating press tools, guaranteeing part quality, and sustaining productive output.
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you ll Do:
Set up and operate various types of press tools (mechanical, hydraulic) to form and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications relevant to our Chennai operations.
Monitor machine operation closely, making necessary adjustments to pressure, speed, and feed to maintain consistent part quality and efficient production rates in our Chennai plant.
Perform routine maintenance on press tools and associated equipment, including lubrication and basic adjustments, following our Chennai facility's maintenance schedule.
Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report any significant issues to the maintenance team promptly, ensuring minimal downtime in our Chennai production line.
Perform efficient tooling changes and adjustments as required for different production runs.

What you need:
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T, adhering to industry standards followed in Chennai.
Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Knowledge of various metal materials and their forming properties, considering the materials commonly used in Chennai's industries.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine operation issues.
