Job Description
Are you an experienced CNC programmer based in Chennai who specialises in Horizontal Machining Centres (HMCs) and has a strong desire to develop precise and effective machining programs for intricate parts?

Join our Chennai-based advanced manufacturing team and play a key part in creating and refining CNC programs especially for our HMC machines. Your in-depth knowledge of HMC programming techniques and capabilities will be essential to our ability to produce complex, high-quality parts.

Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize complex CNC programs specifically for Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), including multi-axis configurations, based on engineering drawings, CAD/CAM models, and specifications.
Simulate and verify CNC programs using software to identify and resolve potential errors, collisions, or inefficiencies before they reach the machine, ensuring safe and effective machining in Chennai.
Conduct thorough program simulations and virtual machining trials to identify and resolve potential issues (collisions, toolpath inefficiencies) before implementation on the machine.
Continuously improve HMC programming techniques and strategies to reduce cycle times, minimize material waste, and enhance the quality of complex parts.
Lead the setup and prove-out of new and complex HMC programs on the machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HMC technology, tooling, and advanced programming software features.

Qualification:
Expert-level understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) with specific knowledge of HMC-related commands and cycles.
Advanced proficiency in using one or more industry-leading CAD/CAM software packages specifically for multi-axis HMC programming (specify preferred software if applicable).
Mastery in interpreting complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and advanced CAD/CAM models for HMC applications.
In-depth knowledge of specialized cutting tools, advanced workholding methods (including multi-axis fixturing), and optimized machining parameters for various materials on HMCs.

Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
Experience: 2 to 5 yrs
