Responsibilities
Make calls to insurance companies on doctors' behalf and conduct more research on unpaid accounts receivable.
preferred applicant with prior experience in hospital billing.
Prioritise unpaid claims for calling based on how long they have been past due.
Make direct calls to insurance providers and persuade them to settle the unpaid claims.
Verify the accuracy of the patient's insurance information and assess any unpaid claims.
Contact insurance providers to enquire about the status of claims.
