Job Description
Responsibilities
Make precise 3D models of both individual components and intricate assemblies with SolidWorks, making sure that all design guidelines and engineering standards are followed.
Compile and keep up-to-date assembly instructions and thorough Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Do simple engineering computations to confirm the performance and integrity of the design.
Assist in product testing and assessment by examining the outcomes and suggesting changes to the design in response to comments.
Give helpful technical criticism and take part in design assessments.
Communicate with vendors to choose components and talk about manufacturing viability.
Skills
Solid knowledge of GD&T and its application in drawings.
Ability to perform basic engineering calculations for stress, load, and component sizing.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
