Role Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. The Machine Shop Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the machine shop, coordinate production planning, manage and train shop floor team members, ensure quality control standards are upheld, and maintain smooth machining processes. Responsibilities also include monitoring equipment, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills with experience managing and training teams in a machine shop environment
Proficiency in production planning and workflow optimization
Hands-on experience with milling and machining processes
Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining quality control standards
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
Strong understanding of safe work practices and adherence to safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) preferred
Previous experience in a similar role is a strong advantage
