Job Description:

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician in the Plant Maintenance Department, your role involves carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting MIG welding machines and related automation systems. Additionally, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of utilities such as compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handling systems. Operating and maintaining DG (Diesel Generator) sets, including synchronization and load management, will also be part of your responsibilities. Monitoring electrical panels, transformers, motors, drives, and control systems for safe and efficient operation, attending electrical breakdowns, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime are crucial tasks. Supporting production activities by ensuring equipment availability and reliability, maintaining records of maintenance activities, breakdown analysis, and spare consumption, ensuring compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and statutory requirements, coordinating with production and utility teams for shutdown and maintenance planning, participating in energy-saving and continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment and systems are key responsibilities. Required Qualifications: - Diploma / ITI in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant field. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you are required to have strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, experience in handling MIG welding machines and plant automation systems, knowledge of utilities operation and maintenance, experience in DG operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, familiarity with PLC, VFD, HMI, sensors, and industrial control systems, ability to read electrical drawings and schematics, and good problem-solving and team coordination skills.
