Job description :
As a Design Engineer & Quality Control (QA/QC) Executive, your role involves a combination of design engineering using AutoCAD and quality control responsibilities. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Engineering (AutoCAD / Mechanical):
- Create and modify 2D & 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare design layouts, assembly drawings, and part details according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in new product development (NPD) and enhancing existing products.
- Quality Control (QA/QC):
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods based on defined standards.
- Perform dimensional & visual inspections, testing, and quality checks.
- Generate quality reports, maintain documentation, and support audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues.
- Implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance product quality.
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- 1-3 years of experience in Design & Quality Control (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
