Job Description
Responsibilities
Claims Analysis: Analyze and resolve complex accounts receivable (AR) issues, including denials, underpayments, and rejections.
EOB Interpretation: Accurately interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify discrepancies and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
Denial Management: Research and appeal denied claims, working directly with insurance payers to secure payment.
Payer Communication: Communicate effectively with insurance companies via phone, email, and online portals to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain payment status.
AR Reporting: Generate and analyze AR reports to identify trends, track performance, and recommend process improvements.

Skills
Coding Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) and billing practices.
EOB Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) effectively.
Denial Management: Experience in researching and appealing denied claims.
Payer Knowledge: Familiarity with various insurance payers and their specific requirements.
