Job Description
Primary Task: As a Chennai-based SolidWorks Design Engineer, you will play a key role in turning ideas into functional designs. Your main responsibility will be to generate, edit, and optimise 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks extensively. Working closely with cross-functional teams from initial concept to production, you will make sure designs adhere to functional specifications, manufacturing needs, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Create thorough assembly models while making sure that the right clearances, interferences, and mating conditions are present.
Create component lists, technical specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and manufacture.
To verify designs, do simple engineering computations.
Make sure non-technical stakeholders understand the design objective and technical aspects.
Keep abreast with industry developments, design best practices, and the newest SolidWorks features.

Required Abilities:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Good communication skills for technical discussions, documentation, and presentations.
