Application and Entrance Test (Common Admission Test)

Entrance Test:

Applicants are required to appear for the Common Admission Test [CAT] conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The CAT examination conducted at different centers all over the country is likely to be held during the month of November [refer CAT Bulletin for further details].

NIRMA Assuredly Direct Admission. The candidates aspiring for admission at the Institute of Management, Nirma University are required to apply to the Institute separately. For those candidates who have applied to the Institute, the Institute will receive the test scores from the IIM conducting the CAT examination.

IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.
Further, Foreign Nations/Persons of Indian origin/Gulf Countries and Southeast Asia candidates can be considered for admission based on their GMAT scores [not taken before July 2021].

3. Register your account to log into the online application form.
4. Fill in the details in the form with the correct details

Attendance Policy

The university has a strict attendance policy where students require a minimum of 85% attendance to appear for the annual exams. In case of low attendance, students have to appear for mid-semester exams and submit additional assignments. Students are detained in the subject if the attendance percentage is lower than 60%.

Due to the above-mentioned rigid attendance criteria, students are restricted from participating in co-curricular activities. In the past, students were said to have attended classes when sick because of the fear of getting detained.

Dress Code

The university does not have a specific dress code. However, the Engineering students are expected to wear formal clothes on Mondays. Students are expected to wear decent and ethical clothes. The girls and boys are not allowed to wear clothes that expose their knees, like shorts/capris. Apart from that, students are accustomed to wearing casual clothes.
