Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Scientists: Work closely with experienced Data Scientists to design, create, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, ensuring efficient data integration and processing.
- Develop performant SQL: Write and optimize SQL queries to handle various business use cases, ensuring high performance and accuracy in data retrieval and manipulation.
- Understand business requirements and data: Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and the data landscape, ensuring solutions align with both technical and business objectives.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL relations: Create, optimize, and debug PostgreSQL databases and relations, ensuring data is structured and managed in a way that supports business analysis and decision-making.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation jobs: Actively monitor automated ETL/ELT processes, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Develop data integration standards: Contribute to the development and implementation of standards for best practices in data integration, promoting consistency and efficiency in data workflows.
- Automate reporting and analysis processes: Play an active role in automating repetitive reporting tasks and analytical workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing the speed and accuracy of data insights.
- Extract and manage data: Extract data from multiple sources, design and maintain databases, and build reliable processes that facilitate seamless data analysis and reporting for the business.
- Document ETL processes: Create and maintain technical documentation for existing and new ETL processes, ensuring that all data workflows are well-documented and easily understood by other team members.
