Paintshop Machinery Maintenance Needs Sr Engineer
Job Description
Focus: To ensure high quality and continuous operation of painting processes for injection moulded parts in Chennai, place a strong emphasis on advanced troubleshooting, preventive/predictive maintenance, process optimisation, team guidance, and project leadership for all electrical, mechanical, and automation aspects of the paint shop.
Experience: 5 to 7 yrs

What you ll Do:
For recurrent equipment failures, carry out thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and put sustainable corrective and preventative measures (CAPA) into place.
Make sure the maintenance crew follows PM schedules efficiently to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Lead paint shop operations-specific continuous improvement projects in the maintenance division.
Ensure that newly installed or updated systems are tested, validated, and handed over smoothly.
Serve as a technical specialist and point of contact for difficult maintenance problems.

What you need:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
Experience with CMMS software.
Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations.
